Liuti Appointed to APS Committee on the Status of Women in Physics

Simonetta Liuti has been appointed to the American Physical Society's Committee on the Status of Women in Physics (CSWP). The CSWP addresses the production, retention, and career development of women physicists and gathers and maintains data on women in physics in support of these objectives. It was founded in 1972 to encourage and address the career development of women physicists. The Committee consists of nine volunteer members appointed by the President of the APS, and sponsors studies, programs, and publications related to women in physics.
